Once a week, I cook food for toddlers and children at the childcare centre where I work as an early-childhood educator. I always cook differently and make it more interesting for the kids. This time I cook pasta with tuna and pumpkin – a lot of colour, textures and flavours. As usual, no left-over food. Kids and educators love it! 😂 Then at night, I cooked for my boys.
Did you know? Native to North America (northeastern Mexico and the southern United States), pumpkins are one of the oldest domesticated plants, having been used as early as 7,500 to 5,000 BC.
